MARTIN NIEVERA – The Concert King revealed being a DDS or “Duterte Die-hard Supporter” after the thanksgiving concert for President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Internet users were shocked to learn that the so-called “Concert King” and singer-songwriter was a fan of President Rodrigo Duterte. One of the famous people who will perform at the thanksgiving concert honoring President Duterte, whose term ends on June 30, is Nievera.

“Maraming maraming salamat Pangulong Duterte sa inyong dedication and service for the country,” Nievera said.

Nievera’s DDS status, which was not evident during the president’s rallies, even caught some prominent Duterte supporters off guard. The performers also denied going to the aforementioned concert since they accepted government cash to play.

Along with Martin Nievera, other notable guests include the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Andrew E, Chad Borja, Dulce, Florante, Freddie Aguilar, Ice Seguerra, Isay Alvarez, Jimmy BOndoc, and Chad Borja.

Filipino musicians and supporters of President Duterte organized the “Salamat, PRRD” Thanksgiving concert at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila to express their gratitude to the departing leader. The venue was lit up and filled with lovely music. Thousands of President Duterte’s supporters continued to march despite the rain.

the pre-program, which got underway at 4 p.m. included Filipino performers who entertained the crowd while they waited for the President to arrive, including Shamrock, Franchize, and Repakol. The event’s music-filled evening officially began at 6:39 p.m. when President Duterte and his partner Honeylet Avancea arrived.

The President was in good spirits the entire time and even joined in when his favorite songs were played. To the Filipinos, in particular, those who visited the Quirino Grandstand, he left a brief message.

“Maiksi lang po. Sa sambayanang Filipino: Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyo,” he said — his shortest address throughout his six-year presidency.
