Mayor Rody Duterte Is Now In International News

PDP-Laban Standard bearer Davao Mayor Rodrigo “Rody Duterte is now making a buzz not only in the Philippines but also in the international news with his “joke” statement about the case of an Australian missionary.

The comments by straight-forward-talking Mayor Rody Duterte – a self-confessed womanizer – draw a flock of negative comments three weeks before May 9 Presidential election. Political experts say that this is a wrong move, and would be very crucial for Duterte’s win.

As we can all remember, Jacqueline Hammil was working in a prison in Davao when she was rap3d and ki||ed during a riot by inmates in Duterte’s regime as City Mayor of Davao, 1989.

They rap3d all of the women … There was this Australian lay minister … when they took them out … I saw her face and I thought: ‘Son of a bi+ch. what a pity … they rap3d her, they all lined up. I was mad she was rap3d but she was so beautiful. I thought the mayor should have been first,” Duterte said with the crowd of laughing supporters during his campaign rally.

As his statement continues to hit up, international media and news BBC, The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, Australia’s ABC and The Telegraph has reported the line of Presidentiable Duterte which earned anger and negative feedbacks from Australian and British citizens.

This once again proves William McKinley was right when he said this about the Philippines: “they are unfit for self-government and they would soon have anarchy and misrule over there worse than Spain’s wars”, one Australian said.

  1. some or mostly of us will judge someone by a single mistake and so as we are judged by others, duterte is my president not for the words that he spoke but the action that he did to davao…

  2. He committed a serious blunder, but he had already asked for apology. He used to say that if we don’t vote for his running mate, Sen. Cayetano, then it is useless voting for him, because it is the Senator who will rectify him. Given everything that he told in public in his ongoing campaign sortie, I believe he is still the man to push for the presidency. Sometimes he sounds indecent, but he immediately regrets what he had done and he is honest enough to admit his mistakes. This seems to set him apart from the other candidates.

Duterte’s minions will remain to be steadfast kahit tubuan pa ng sungay ang kanilang idolo. Its because his followers/believers are blind. That’s the sad truth about us: we tend to be blind followers. In other situation, pwede nating pag tiisan. Pero its presidency!

Wag naman sanang mangyari sa atin ang nangyari sa Egypt just recently. They elected their president in very much the same way as with the present Duterte phenomena which a short while later sinipa din nila, but not after so many lives was lost/damage was done. Or the same way ng nangyari kay Erap.

Let us be very carefull what we ask for.

  5. It is not about Duterte’s bad mouth. Action speaks louder than words. Media is trying to control over the weak mind. They are trying to demonize a president to be. What is the purpose? To protect the oligarchs. Before choosing whom you’d like… please make some research on facts and not on flowering mouths. We know what’s happening in our country right now. We are not safe. It is becoming worse day by day. I can say that in the history of the Philippines, Noynoy is the worst president. He disgraced the memory of his parents. This is the truth in me. After coming up reliable facts, tell me if I wrong with my stance.
