In his show “Gandang Gabi Vice,” there was a surprising revelation when the only woman he loved before realizing his true gender and feelings made an appearance. Vice Ganda was taken aback when Christine Reyes and her partner, Marco Gumabao, introduced Betty, the woman who had once captured his heart. During her appearance, Vice Ganda appeared smitten and recounted how he courted Betty in the past.
At first, Vice was hesitant to share this story, fearing that Betty’s spouse might get upset. However, it turned out that Betty’s spouse was with her and was watching Vice Ganda’s show. In the early days, Vice Ganda was a choir member in their area, and he often sang “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” dedicated to Betty. Since cell phones were not common at that time, Vice would send letters using scented stationery and a fragrant pen. Betty had many suitors, including Vice Ganda’s cousin, which made him feel jealous. He even refused to sell rice to his cousin in their store because of the courtship.
Eventually, Vice Ganda realized that his heart was meant for a man. They also moved away from Tambunting, which resulted in the loss of communication with Betty.
