MJ Lastimosa Admits She Still Chooses TVJ Despite Offer from TAPE Inc

Filipina beauty queen MJ Lastimosa revealed that she received an offer from Television and Production Exponents Inc (TAPE) but she still chooses TVJ.

In an interview with PEP, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 said that she was offered a guest spot on Eat Bulaga. However, because of her devotion to the TVJ, she decided to decline it.

MJ confessed in the interview that, while the offer from TAPE Inc was difficult to turn down, her loyalty to her former colleagues won out. She also chose not to get engaged in the controversy between former Eat Bulaga hosts and TAPE.

 “May mga offer. Nahirapan talaga kaming mag-make ng decision, kasi work is work. No matter what happen, meron tayong mga bills na dapat bayaran araw-araw, lalo na if you’re a breadwinner, maraming nakasandal sa ‘yo. Napakahirap to say no to something na alam mong stable income.” MJ said during the interview.

“But at the same time, iba rin ang pagmamahal sa mga taong naka-trabaho mo na. So medyo, ang hirap-hirap to make a decision. But I chose to stay away for whatever is happening muna.” she added.

MJ, along with Maja Salvador, Main Mendoza, and Miles Ocampo, was a member of Eat Bulaga’s ‘4M’. Meanwhile, MJ was currently hosting the ‘Sugod Bahay’ section alongside Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, and Zombie on TV5’s newest noontime show, E.A.T.

Despite her busy schedule, MJ accepted the request to be a guest co-host on TV5’s new TVJ show. MJ doesn’t feel left out despite the fact that she and herfriends haven’t seen each other in a year and a lot has changed.
