Nadine Lustre issued a statement in defense of her on-screen partner and real-life boyfriend James Reid who’s being tagged as a “playboy”.
Just recently, James Reid conquered headlines online after an Instagram video of him along with two girls and three other companions went viral. It was even posted on numeral social media platforms.

“Hindi naman playboy. Regarding the video, ‘yung mga nandoon naman po sa video, kilala ko naman po kung sino ‘yung nandoon sa car,” the 22-year-old actress said in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda during her guest appearance on “Tonight With Boy Abunda“.
Nadine Lustre also shrugs off rumors that her relationship with the teen heartthrob is only for a show.
“If ayaw nila maniwala, it’s up to them. Basta ang importante po, me and James, we know what’s real and we know the truth. That’s what’s important,” she said.
Nadine Lustre and James Reid who are more popular for their phenomenal love team dubbed as “JaDine” celebrated their 2nd monthsary as real-life sweethearts last April 11, 2016.
However, she admitted that she and her boyfriend were not able to celebrate that special day because they are currently busy filming their upcoming movie, “This Time” which is produced by Viva Films.
“It’s a summer movie so this is very light… Nagkakilala sila sa isang sari-sari store because of the ice cream. Doon nagsimula ‘yung love story nila. Every summer lang umuuwi si Coby. Sa States talaga siya nakatira kasi ‘yung lolo niya, doon based. So every summer nagde-develop ‘yung feelings nila towards each other,” Nadine Lustre detailed.
The country’s most popular love team are also gearing up for their much awaited world tour particularly in Canada and United States.
