Paolo Contis reacts to the upcoming wedding of ex-partner LJ Reyes
PAOLO CONTIS – The actor and television host has reacted to the upcoming wedding of his former partner, LJ Reyes.
It was in May when LJ got engaged to her boyfriend Philip Evangelista. When they first shared their engagement, Paolo did not give any comments.
However, during the look test for the movie “Fuchsia Libre,” starring John Arcilla, he was asked about his thoughts on his former partner’s upcoming wedding. “Wala naman. I mean, of course, I’m very happy for her. It’s her thing… I’m very happy for her that she found love, and I don’t have anything bad to say, right? She has the right to be happy. It’s her right, and I’m very happy that she’s happy. Right? I’m very happy for her,” he said.
According to Paolo, the time will come when he’s going to get married. But before that, he wants to settle everything, especially since he has children.
Meanwhile, Paolo Enrico Tusi Contis is a versatile artist known for his roles in acting, hosting, singing, and comedy. He made his debut as a child actor on ABS-CBN’s show “Ang TV” during the 1990s.
Currently, he is a host on the revamped version of “Eat Bulaga.” Contis co-hosts the show with former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya, the Legaspi twins, and others.
Contis is a father of three children from different relationships. He has two daughters from his previous marriage to Lian Paz, a former member of EB Babes, and another daughter from his relationship with LJ Reyes. His widely-publicized separation from Reyes in 2021 marked a new chapter in his personal life, as he embarked on a relationship with his “A Faraway Land” co-star Yen Santos.
