‘Playgirls’ Also Performed Similar ‘PGT’ Act During Liberal Party Gathering

People recalled the previous controversy that the ‘Playgirls’ was into before because of their ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ audition performance.

All-girl group ‘Playgirls’ which auditioned in ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ on its March 3 episode gathered controversy due to their “vulgar” dance performance.

It can be recalled that they were buzzed out by PGT judge and actress Angel Locsin just a few seconds after they started their act.

According to a previous article, Angel explained that she was just concerned about the welfare of the girls and she doesn’t want them to be treated lowly because of what they showed.

On the other hand, the ‘Playgirls’ members did not take the advice from the judge open-heartedly because they rant about it on their social media accounts.

On this note, it seems that the girls does not mind being bashed and for them bad publicity is still publicity, after all, based on the article recently published in Pinoy Trending.

It was said that the ‘Playgirls’ even proudly shared that their PGT performance video is the number trending on YouTube, as of the moment.

The members of the all-girl group have been doing the kind of act they showed in PGT even a long time ago and the name of the group sounded so familiar to quite a number of netizens.

Due to that controversial performance of the group in the talent show, they were recalled in association with a previous controversy.

The said article in Pinoy Trending pointed out what they did during a Liberal Party gathering in lAguna back in October 1, 2015 and that too went controversial.

Reportedly, the master of ceremony of that event said that the performance of the ‘Playgirls’ was a surprise gift from defeated Senatorial candidate Francis Tolentino who was also a former MMDA chairman.

However, Tolentino denied that it was him who hired the girls to entertain the LP members during that said gathering.

As that ‘Playgirls’ performance went controversial, Tolentino was sued by Eleven labor groups, a youth organization and a private individual for allegedly “treating the girls as sex objects”, based on the article.

Later on, Tolentino resigned as MMDA chairman and asked LP to take him out of the Senatorial list.

The girls perhaps even more confidence when former President Joseph Estrada defended that the performance of the all-girl group is not immoral.
