Susan Roces talks about Grace Poe.
Now that it is her daughter’s turn in the presidential race, veteran actress Susan Roces is certainly doing everything she can in campaigning for Senator Grace Poe.
It was 2004 when his husband Fernando Poe Jr. also run for the presidential race and it is not new to her to be involved in the election campaign.
Asked about her experience during the 2004 election and this year’s election, Roces said that she cannot compare the years as there were already a lot of changes.
She pointed that as the weather is hot so as the election is heated however she is positive in the results of the May 9 election.
“Kung ano man ang magiging resulta ng darating na halalan, ang ipinagpanalagin ko ay kung ano ang makabubuti sa ating bayan.” she said.
The Ang Probinsyano actress also shared how proud she is with her daughter.
“As a mother, yes, I am proud of my daughter. I know that she’s doing her job well.” she said.
Asked about the performance of her daughter in the survey, the actress said that life is always like that.
“Hindi naman palaging nasa taas. Sabi nga nila, gulong ng palad,” she added.
About the issues thrown against Poe, Roces abruptly replied how she is affected especially to the lies thrown against the senator.
“Normal lang para sa isang magulang kapag may ipinupukol na kasinungalingan sa iyong anak o miyembro ng iyong pamilya, masama ang loob mo. Pero ganun talaga ang buhay.” she explained.
Roces noted that the only thing she could do for Poe is to pray for her and to boost her and take care of her health.
The actress admitted also that she misses her daughter because of the senator’s busy schedule caused by the election campaign.
“I hope all of these will end soon and we’re facing a big challenge.” she disclosed.
Abou the speculations that sister Rosemarie Sonoro and daughter Sheryl Cruz will hold a presscon against Poe, Roces did not talk about it.
