Taiwanese Super Model, named Olivia Ku died during Underwater Shoot
Popular Taiwanese Super Model, Olivia Ku died during Underwater Shoot near Hecgchun Township in Taiwan’s Ping Country.
It was alleged that the model drowned because of asthma attack after she was asked by the photographer to remove her breathing apparatus for a shot. The Local Coast guards did not affirm nor deny the allegations because final assessment was not yet affirmed.
Her death is considered mysterious because the model is known to be an amateur diver with at least three years of experience according to some local hubs. Ku even signed up to volunteer a couple of times to clean the seabed.
She was already unconscious when she was pulled out of water according to local authorities and the doctors were not able to revive her when she arrived in the nearest hospital.
Being the first model to die during an underwater photoshoot, the photography, diving community and fans has mourn, expressing sympathies for the known model, in the social media.
A professional diver said that underwater photography should always be conducted in shallow waters for safety precautions of the models and staff.
Authorities finds the necessity to further investigate the death of the supermodel to determine the exact cause of the accident. It is also noted that the Representative of Eelin Entertainment, Ku’s modeling agency, were also present during the photoshoot.
