Lina Medina The Youngest Mother in History
People usually have unconsciously set the ideal ages for certain things. Every individual does it and the society has also its own share of its idealism. But no matter how average the age is set, each has their own pacing like Lina Medina.
Isn’t it shocking to dig up on the world record as to what age is the youngest woman to have given birth is? She is just in her fifth year in this world when she gave birth to another life.
Lina Medina from Ticapro, Peru holds the record as the youngest mother on Earth at a very young age. Who would imagine that this could happen?
It was on September 27,1933 when Lina Medina was born in this world. There was one instance in which she was brought to a medical hospital for a check-up. She was five years old that time and is experiencing shock in the extreme growth in her abdomen.
On the onset, some mistakenly thought it as a piece of white tissue growing but later on, the medical doctors find out that she bears another life within her. She was seven months pregnant already that time.
After two months, a baby boy came through a caesarean section as Lina has very small pelvis to deliver the infant in a natural method. During the operation, a mature private organ was seen by the medical doctors in Lina.
Her son was named Gerardo, weighing 2.7 kg, and this made Lina Medina named as the youngest confirmed mother in medical history, aged 5 years, 7 months and 21 days.
As everybody would suspect, taking advantage of her innocence was been considered and her father was arrested on suspension of incest. But he was released later due to lack of evidence.
It was later revealed that her father was the one suspected to have touched the little girl. Investigations went on but it ended with the release of her father for the lack of evidence against him.
The little girl never spoke on who really caused her pregnancy.So what can you say about this one?
