Quokkas are herbivores, living off the coast of West Australia, through swamps and thickets.

Mainly on Rottnest Island and Bald Island, were they freely wander on riverbanks and eucalyptus forests.

They love to eat peppermint plants and other greeny plants, storing fat in their leaning times.

Like beavers, they can dig tunnels in order nap and to hide.

They also hop like kangaroos, a close relative of their kind.

However, they are already endangered because of the decreasing number of population they have had.

They are there for you because of affection, but please make them live longer and happier.

Rottnest Island is the only place where they live together in large number.

Because of habitat destruction and human activities, they are considered close to extinction already.

Since they only rely on green plants and vegetables as their food, the moment that forests be replaced by buildings and shops, the more we lose their lives.

Feel free to make an appeal in order to strengthen their population and conserve more of nature, let Quokkas be an inspiration to us to live as natural as we should, less population, and more green environment.

It is up to us humans on how we take care of these cute little buddies that are God’s gift to us.

Quokkas are already used to humans and they easily interact with us, so why not be nicer to them? giving them more trees and plants to eat? And a cleaner and greener place to live?
