A few days from now before his assumption to office, Duterte revealed that he will immediately be more directive in acting on the most particular of public injustices by implementing a 24-hour hotline accessible to every Filipino.
In an exclusive interview with Mocha Uson, Duterte said that over the weekend the 24-hour hotline of public grievances will be implemented under his administration.
Reports online also have said that Duterte’s administration will provide 12 hotline for complaints of corruption in government offices.
Duterte said During Saturday night’s victory party in Cebu, the hotline numbers will be operated by persons who will record complaints of corrupt practices by government officials. He said that he will deal with corrupt officials directly and shame them.
In an interview with Mocha Uson, the elected president acknowledge that he will need extraordinary powers to solve the traffic woes in Metro Manila.
“Kung pumayag ang congress, we will declare crisis,” he said.
Uson posted the interview on her Facebook page, MOCHA USON BLOG. She also showed how Duterte handled the long queues for public documents from different government agencies – a number one concern by many OFWs.
Duterte also brought up that he will be creating a new office under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that will perform the function of the NBI, BIR, and DFA.
These three aforementioned offices are responsible for issuing appropriate documents needed by those who are finding jobs in securing employment locally and abroad.
“Napakahaba ng pila, mahigit five hours ang paghihintay, mayaman man o mahirap pantay-pantay ang pagdadaanan at WALANG VIP treatment,” Uson said as she summarized the common problem of Filipinos.
The DOLE can host the one-stop shop for documents necessary for employment, “So, one-stop na lang ang Pilipino,” Duterte said. “Ayaw ko nang magtatakbo-takbo pa ang Pilipino,” said by the incoming President in response.
Duterte said all these are cases of “crime and corruption,” which his incoming administration has vowed to end.
