In preparation for her action flick movie with Filipino American MMA star Brandon Vera, Ann Curtis revealed that she is undergoing a strict Kali Martial Arts training with the Scout Rangers.
“Running whilst carrying an extra 12kgs on your body is so painful but they keep the morale high with the running cadence. Masarap na masakit. Sobrang sakit. Salamat po ulit sa lahat ng babae at lalake na kasabay ko sa training kanina, ” she said on her Instagram post yesterday (July 3, 2016).
She also posted a photo of her stading in front of the Scout Ranger Training School arc captioned, ” Spent my whole day at the Scout Ranger Training School. Hindi po biro ang ginagawa ng ating Scout Rangers. Napakahirap. Saludo po ako sa inyong lahat. Stamina and Skill. Stalk like a Panther. “(July 3, 2016).
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Anne Curtis also expressed her feelings as she will be doing this action movie for the very first time, and as she tries to learn from her training, because she is eager to do all her stunts in the movie herself.

“Excited ako kasi nga hindi ko pa siya ginagawa and it’s actually always been something that I’ve wanted to do. Game kaagad. Ine-enjoy ko siya. I guess it helps that I’m also very active. Doing something na challenging excites me,” she said.
“No to doubles. That’s why I’m really putting in so much effort. I told this to direk na kung puwede ako talaga. Seryoso talaga kaya inaaral ko as much as I can kahit pasa pasa na ako, okay lang,” she added.

Meanwhile, MMA Star Brandon Vera was impressed with Curtis’ improvement and dedication on her training.
“I’m very interested in watching Anne train. Nakita ko ‘yung first day niya. From first day to day six, ibang tao na talaga. Natututo siyang mahusay, maayos. I don’t know how to explain it in Tagalog but she’s a beast. If you’re lucky enough to watch Anne train, you can see how focused she is,” he said.
