Beyonce brought home the top prize in the Video of the Year of the 2016 MTV Viceo Music Awards in New York.
American RnB star Beyonce brought home the top prize for the Video of the Year in the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) in a ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Beyonce’s hit song, Formation, nailed it to the top prize along with the trophy for the category of choreography, editing, long form video, among others.
A total of seven awards were scooped by the dubbed, “Queen B” that night.
“First of all I’d like to thank my beautiful daughter and my incredible husband for all of their support”, Beyoncé said in her acceptance speech.
The 34-year-old singer beat other artists including Adele, Drake, Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
