DUTERTE ADMIRES LENI – Not everything that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte says are serious matters with regards to the issues faced by the country. The man also knows how to look around and appreciate beautiful ones.
President Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo came from two different party list during the election campaign. President Duterte ran with Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano as his vice president and VP Robredo’s president was former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas in the Liberal Party.
Undeniably, queries were raised like ‘Can they work together?’ when the final counting was almost at hand and Duterte and Robredo were the front runners. A misleading issue even spread that Leni would not assume her post if Duterte would be the president.
That was way back then. Now, base on the collaboration between the two, the President and the Vice President seem like a perfect match for the Philippines. A firm-figured man who stands strong paired to a woman who really resembles a mother-like figure for the nation.
