It is as if President Duterte does not pay any attention to European Union’s statement that he is an unpopular leader.
Unpopular was the word used by the European Union (EU) to describe President Rodrigo Duterte but it seems like the Philippines’ 16th chief executive officer does not care at all.
President Digong, as he is popularly known to his countrymen, emphasized that he does not care at all to EU’s tagging him as the most unpopular leader.
The president made the statement during his speech in his visit to the men and women of the Police Regional Office 12 (PRO-12) in General Santos City on September 23, Friday.
According to the Davao-native president, he does not care being called as such because the election season is over and he has already won as the president of the Philippine with a six million votes margin or lead.
Duterte finds EU’s statement calling him as unpopular and not acting as a “statesman” as funny, saying that he ran to be a president not to be a “statesman” because there is no such position in the government.
