The president redirected Jaybee Sebastian to the Department of Justice where he can make his confessions to.
President Rodrigo Duterte refused to accept the offer of the high profile inmate, Jaybee Sebastian, to have a talk with him and confess all that he knows about the illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
The president declared his refusal upon arrival at the Davao International Airport on early September 30, Friday morning, after his visit to Vietnam for a couple of days.
According to Pres. Duterte, Jaybee may go personally or send a letter to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Sec. Perfecto Yasay, if he has something to divulge.
Duterte emphasized that he does not talk to criminals like Jaybee who is a convict and dubbed as the “lord of all drug lords” inside the national penitentiary.
“I do not talk to criminals. You can go to the fiscal or write a letter to Secretary (Perfecto) Yasay”, said Pres. Duterte.
The chief executive added that it is only just and proper for convicts, especially of illegal drugs, to be facing whatever problem they have right now.
