Money And Respect Are The Things That Duterte Will Seek In His State Visit To China
President Rodrigo Duterte’s state visit to China seeks for a billion dollar investment and respect, after his series of tirades against the US.
Duterte gave China a timely boost in its quest for control of South China Sea as he threatens United States (US) to end their decade-long alliance. On Rodrigo’s state visit to China, their president Xi Jinping is set to give him a warm welcome.
Recently US criticized Duterte’s for the EJK incidents happening in the country amid his anti-illegal drum campaign and he wants the Philippines off to the unhealthy reliance in its former colonial ruler.
Also, an analyst said that the president attraction to China is part of his governing strategy and he repeatedly mentioned in his speech that the US are diminishing our economic and military power.
