Jaybee Sebastian has initially offered to talk exclusively to Duterte to divulge all his knowledge about the illegal drug trade inside the NBP but the president refused.
Department of Justice (DOJ) Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre II said on Friday, September 30, that he is open to hear about the testimony of high profile inmate Jaybee Sebastian, who initially expressed his willingness to divulge all his knowledge.
Sebastian, who is dubbed as the “lord of all drug lords” inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP), said he is willing to disclose all that he knows about the illegal drug trade in the national penitentiary but he is only going to tell it to President Rodrigo Duterte “alone”.
But the chief executive refused to buy the suggestion of Sebastian, saying he does not negotiate with criminals. Instead, Duterte advised the high profile inmate to make his disclosure before a prosecutor.

But on Friday, Sec. Aguirre said that he will be willing to talk to Sebastian, only if it will be permitted by his lawyer.
