The United States of America does not seem to buy President Duterte’s tale of promising God in his dream that he will already stop cussing.
WASHINGTON, United States of America – The US has no plans to buy Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s promise that he would stop from cussing after God appeared to his dream.
The President earlier told the public that while he was on his way to the Davao International Airport from a three-day working visit in Japan, God appeared in his dream and told him that He would let the plane crush should he continue cussing – and so he swore to stop cursing.
The United States is one of the favorite ‘receivers’ of President Duterte of his cursing and tirades.
According to US State Department Spokesman Mark Toner, they will not buy Duterte’s promise and added that they respect his personal relationship with God.
When asked about the epiphany of Duterte and if that would lead the way for an easier conversation with the President of the Philippines, Toner just laughed as his response.
