Wil Dasovich revealed that he actually took medical marijuana for his colon cancer treatment.
Former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemateand now YouTuber Wil Dasovich recently revealed to the public that as a part of his cancer treatment, he actually used medical marijuana.
The social media celebrity was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in September last year.
His health status is one of the most watched and talked about topic on YouTube and other social media platforms.
Wil broke the good news this month when he announced that he is now cancer free and one helpful factor to that is by using medical marijuana.
This was revealed by the vlogger during his guesting in ANC’s ‘Headstart’ which was also reported in Pilipino Star Ngayon.
In the said program, Wil Dasovich opened up about using marijuana as a part of his treatment for his colon cancer.
“They give you all these pills and stuff… I hated popping all these prescriptions they’re giving. It works, it alleviates stuff, but nothing was like medical marijuana,” he stated.
The YouTuber also pointed out that marijuana is actually legal in California.
“In California, maybe some people don’t know this, but marijuana is legal. Not just medical marijuana, as in like marijuana by itself… Every single cancer patient I met in the infusion center uses medical marijuana,” he revealed during the interview.
He calls medical marijuana as a miracle drug because it helped his chemotherapy easier.
However, Wil clarified that he took the said drug through candy or brownies because he did not want his lungs to get affected by the smoke.
He added that it even enhanced his appetite.
“There’s something about it. The best thing is that it gives you an appetite. When you are in chemo, nothing tastes good. Your favorite food just tastes terrible, so you stop eating,” he said, based on the article.
Admittedly, Wil Dasovich said that his chemotherapy gets tougher every cycle and he just took medical marijuana halfway of the treatment and it became much easier for him.
