NASA Astronaut Jeff Williams Shares Breathtaking View Of The Philippines From Space
A recent photo has gone viral over social media when NASA Astronaut Jeff Williams, posted a photo last Friday of the Philippines from a point of view most of us ever get the chance to see. On his Facebook account posted the photos with a caption “Friday morning wakeup with a beautiful pass over the Philippines.”
One Tayler Arron Miller commented on his post saying, “The beauty of the Philippines is shining thru! It’s the Pearl of the Orient Seas. From Fond du lac Wisconsin all the way to Philippines Mabuhay!!!!!!”
In his social media account he described himself: NASA Astronaut, US Army Colonel, experimental test pilot, husband, father, and grandfather. Bringing the International Space Station to you.

Jeffrey Nes Williams was born on January 18, 1958, and is a veteran of three space flights. He is also a retired US Army. Williams wrote a book titled, “The Work of His Hands: A View Of God’s Creation From Space which talks about his experience in the space.
In 1996, Jeffrey was chosen by NASA as an astronaut candidate and flew as a mission specialist and flight engineer aboard STS-101 year 2000.
Williams served as the commander if the NEEMO 3 mission in July 2002 mission aboard the Aquarius underwater laboratory. For six days, he lives and works underwater.
