The Philippines is known as a tropical climate country which the soil is rich in nutrients that it makes possible for us to grow delicious exotic fruits. Many of these fruits originate from foreign countries. Some of these fruits are available seasonally but most of it are available in the market.

Santol or Cotton fruit
It is cultivated in our country. There are two variety of this fruit the yellow and the red santol. The bigger variety called “Bangkok” is sweeter, the smaller variety is on the sour end. This fruit taste “sweet and sour”.
2. Pakwan or Watermelon
The fruit has a smooth hard rind, usually green with dark green stripes or yellow spots, and a juicy, sweet interior flesh, usually deep red to pink. But sometimes orange, yellow, or white, with many seeds.
