Businessmen Urged, Give More Time To President Duterte
Businessmen should be the patient with President Rodrigo Duterte said by PCCI President George Barcelon for the president more time to improve the business climate.
On Tuesday (October 04, 2016), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that businessmen should give more time to Duterte to improve the business climate in the country. George said that told the reporters in Malacañang that the economy of the country has already grown but the president needs more time for improvement for he focuses on his war on drugs advocacy.
On June 30, Duterte promised to end the corruption and cut red in the bureaucracy. “I would tell my friends in the business community that we have to be patient…I think we owe it to this government,” said by Barcelon quoted by ABS-CBN.
He also said that Rodrigo is on his first 100 days in the position where it is really a very short time and he also sees the positive development between the relationship of China and Philippines. Barcelon also said that Digong has already opened the country for business and opportunities.
