There is More prior to Election Day as Campaign Ends.
Vicious Campaign Ends. Historical. This is how people describe the 2016 National elections as the five presidential candidates pursue for a vicious and divisive campaign, now ending, but with the wrapping up plans to stop Mayor Rodrigo Duterte from seating in Malacanang.
In their last attempts, the presidential aspirants apparently strike to Duterte who is still leading in the presidential surveys to stop him from placing the country under an iron-fisted rule.
However, of all the issues being thrown against Duterte, his supporters remained still, a seemingly proof that the majority of the Filipino want a different leadership.
But the other aspirants are not stopping. Administration candidate Mar Roxas on Friday shocked his supporters as he called for “unity” with Sen. Grace Poe however the lady senator don’t think it’s a good idea saying she would not drop her candidacy for Roxas but she added that she is open to a meeting.
He earlier claimed that the fight is now only between him and Duterte.
President Benigno Aquino himself even warned the country that Duterte had the makings of a dictator adding that it was crucial for rivals to unite and beat the mayor given the opinion polls.
Aquino said in an interview that when Roxas and Poe work as one, they will beat the standing of the Duterte, but one of them should back out.
But according to analysts, the result may shift come Election Day especially that the mayor’s controversial bank account is still in hot plate.
