Mar Confident in This May 9 Election
With Duterte and Mar Roxas rivalry, still, Liberal Party standard-bearer Manuel Roxas II is determined and confident that he can beat PDP-Laban standard-bearer Davao City Mayor Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte, warning that Duterte would pave the way for the return of dictatorship in the Philippines.
“We will be victorious in the May 9 elections,” Roxas said.
He also added, “Malalagpasan natin siya.”
Roxas confidently said it even if the latest Pulse Asia and Social Weather Stations survey showed Mayor Duterte ahead of him for 11 percentage which can be estimated to 4 million votes.
Meanwhile, in the vice-presidential corner, Leni Robredo, Roxas running mate is doing better as being on the top, slightly ahead of Sen. Marcos son of the late dictator.
Roxas said during a campaign rally, “In a few days, we’re going to cast our votes. We’re going to make a crucial decision because we’re not deciding on candidates – we’re deciding on our future and the future of our children.”
He also added, that with the support and help of his supporters and the Filipino people, we will be victorious in the May 9 elections.
He also said that this May 9 election is a fight between him and his close rival Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, for the presidency and Marcos – Lene in the vice presidential race.

He said, “Roxas-Robredo for democracy and for a clean and transparent government, or Duterte-Marcos for the return of martial law and for the return of violence. That’s the choice our countrymen are faced with on Monday.”
He also said that he have the faith that the voters will make the wise choice for a clean government. “I can look at you straight in the eye, Leni and I won’t let you down. This is the good fight,” He added.

Mar Roxas is a man without principles. We just don’t know where he stands that’s why he is unpopular.
Although I am for Duterte, I commend Grace Poe for her principle. I know Duterte has a soft spot for her because of her potential to be a good leader. I hope Grace shows us more in the coming days..
As for Mar Roxas and PNoy, it’s too late. They both have been given a lot of time to prove their worth as public servants and failed, and now they woo everyone including their political opponents- for their own selfish motives. Up to Pnoy Aquino’s last days as a public servant, he not only has proven his very elementary brain, but his sinister and dubious nature at that for his recent pronouncements about uniting all the presidentiables against Duterte! After lambasting their opponents, they are now seeking their help? They have no other recourse but to CHEAT AT ALL COST. He, along with Roxas and Trillanes are TERRORISTS! They have and are sowing all forms of terrorism by spreading about concocted “looming” dictatorship, martial low, killings, etc in all directions. Can they not be held criminally liable for sowing terrorism among the peace-loving people? After lambasting their political opponents they seek for “unity”. This is all only for LP’s own consumption! Enough is enough of you lies and deceptions!

This is frightening. Sec Roxas confident that he will win the presidential election. Will the administration go beyond what is clean & credible election? Somehow people just like me is wondering what is his basis for saying this. I just hope & pray that Pres Aquino will leave us, our country a legacy that in his term, a truly CLEAN & HONEST & CREDINLE election is possible.
