Church Welcomes Former Drug Dependents Who Wants A New Life

Church welcome former drug dependents who wants to seek help in turning over into a new life according to Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.

Spiritual guidance, livelihood projects, and skills formation were offered by Mania’s Sanlakbay sa Pagbabago ng Buhay Project who will provide help and guidance for those former drug dependents who wants to leave their old ways.

Participants will be supplied by 12 modules that will be given in the program. “We welcome with all our hearts, and pray that you will be blessed by the Lord. Your Filipino brothers and sisters love you, let us not waste our lives. Instead, we should take care of it and enrich it,” said by Tagle quoted by Inquirer.

On the Church-run Radio Veritas, the announcement was released during the interview. Teaching new skills to enhance the individual’s natural talents and livelihood projects will be included in the program also drug users will be introduced to the Lord, according to Manila Archbishop.
