President Duterte visited Isabela, Basilan on Thursday to talk to the people and appealed to end the violence and tension between the government and the groups of rebels in Muslim Mindanao. It is the first time of the president to visit the province in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) since assuming the presidency on the first day of July.
Security was very tight that even journalist was not allowed to get a coverage of the president’s visit but the Philippine Inquire got hold of an audio recording from one of those who attended the meeting with the President.
