INC Endorsement to Help Stop Administration from Cheating.
INC Endorsement. Following the reports that the Iglesia ni Cristo endorses Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as president when sample ballots leaked online, the camp has welcomed the endorsement saying that it will help stop the Liberal Party’s cheating plan.
According to Duterte’s spokesperson Peter Tiu Lavina, the endorsement of INC is a big boost to their campaign most especially to thwart the attempts of the administration to cheat in the coming elections.
Lavina claimed that the LP is claiming to be in a momentum, laying the premises and conditioning the minds of the people on the grand fraud the team is planning to release the unbelievable results on Election Day.
In the leaked copy of the sample ballot, Duterte’s name was indicated however the INC spokesperson has yet to confirm the endorsement keeping mum on the reports.
Lavina added that the INC’s endorsement is “truly significant” because the religious sect is strict in its bloc voting.
He described INC’s endorsement as a resonation to almost all of the people and all the church formations affected by crime, problems caused by drug use, poverty, corruption and government neglect.
Lavina is also thankful for the reply of Pope Francis saying he is praying for Duterte, this is in line with the letter sent by Dueterte’s camp to the Vatican secretariat for forgiveness over the cursing incident.
