Muslim Mothers Wearing Veil Prevents Entering French Schools
Muslim mothers wearing veil prevents entering French schools were they supposed to drop off their children at the start of school day.
On Monday (September 06, 2016) in French Island of Corsica when two Muslim mothers were supposed to enter the school premises to drop their children they were blocked by two other parents according to officials.
According to local prosecutor Eric Bouillard, the two mothers were blocked by two other parents for wearing Muslim headscarves as their veil. Two men were brothers block the two Muslim mothers because their children are not allowed to wear emblems of their religion at the school so they also thought that these women with veils could not enter too.
The educational officials intervened to allow normal entry to the school said by Mayor Jean Charles Orsucci. Police and a schools inspector were also sent to the scene “and the situation calmed down. There was no violence, no threats, and therefore no laws broken,” said by Bouillard quoted by Inquirer.
