National Heroes Day Pay Rules Reminds by DOLE
National Heroes Day pay rules remind by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Monday (August 29, 2016) which is declared a regular holiday.
Private sectors and establishments were reminded by DOLE about their pay rules this coming holiday on Monday. Labor Secretary Silvestro Bello III said that private sectors should observe their pay rules on special non-working and regular holidays. This pay rules said that can lead to competent employees and more productivity.
These following pay rules should be applied on Monday a non-working holiday.
- [(Daily Rate + Cost of Living Allowance) x 100 percent] on this day must be implied to employees to be paid 100 percent of his/her salary if the employee did not work.
- [(Daily Rate + Cost of Living Allowance) x 200 percent] for the first eight hours of work during regular holidays the salary of the employee must be paid by 200 percent if the employee reported to his/her duty.
