Noy Meets With INC Exec Eduardo Manalo

Iglesia Ni Cristo is one of the largest religious group in the Philippines to which many Political party are aiming to win their side. Yesterday, President Aquino met Iglesia Ni Cristo executive minister Eduardo Manalo, for the purpose of discussing his vision and ‘political appeals’ though the group has already denied of having them endorsing the presidential candidate.

Yesterday morning, the presidential convoy was spotted entering the INC’s central office in Quezon City, hours before the inauguration of the New Pamplona Bridge in Cagayan and for the campaign of the administration standard-bearer Manuel Roxas II and running mate Sur. Rep. Leni Robredo and other candidates who are part of Daang Matuwid.

Aquino said, “First, I expressed my gratitude because the support throughout the administration and before I have been in office was truly felt.”

He then added, “I asked for the meeting. I thanked him (referring to INC’s executive minister Eduardo Manalo) for the support he and his brethren have extended to us. I enumerated the gains under daang matuwid. Lastly, I expressed the hope that these gains will not only be continued but build upon in the future.”

Aquino also said the he shared his vision before and after his administration.

Yesterday, the religious group denied the authenticity of the letter which is making rounds on social media supposedly containing an endorsement of PDP-Laban standard bearer Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

Meanwhile, LP Standard bearer Mar Roxas II said in an interview that he believe that even if without the support of INC and when his support is strong enough then it will sure lead him to victory.

The INC is capable of delivering of over 2 million votes to the candidates they are supporting.
