  3. The rest of Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, and Palawan:
    • Weather Condition: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
    • Cause: Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms
    • Impact: Possible heavy rainfall leading to flooding or landslides during severe weather conditions.
  4. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon:
    • Weather Condition: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
    • Cause: Northeast Monsoon
    • Impact: No significant impact.

Wind and Coastal Water Conditions Forecast:

  1. Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao:
    • Wind Speed: Moderate to Strong
    • Wind Direction: East to Northeast
    • Coastal Waters: Moderate to Rough / (1.2 to 3.1 meters)
  2. The rest of the country:
    • Wind Speed: Light to Moderate
    • Wind Direction: Northeast
    • Coastal Waters: Slight to Moderate / (0.6 to 2.5 meters)

Currently, Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies. The rest of Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies and Localized Thunderstorms.

YELLOW WARNING LEVEL: #Southern Leyte; #Leyte (Palompon, Palo, Baybay City, La Paz, Mayorga, Macarthur, Javier, Abuyog, Mahaplag, Inopacan, Hindang, Hilongos, Bato, Matalom); FLOODING IS POSSIBLE in low-lying areas, and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.

The National Weather Bureau of Visayas has released Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 2 for various regions. This may result in flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous regions. Exercise caution and follow the issued warnings for everyone’s safety.
