As of 3:00 AM today, Tropical Storm “Maliksi” (2402) is located 1,065 km west of Extreme Northern Luzon (21.7°N, 111.6°E). It has maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center with gustiness of up to 90 km/h, moving northward at 10 km/h. While “Maliksi” remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), its progress is being closely monitored by PAGASA for any potential impact on Philippine weather.
