Pia Wurtzbach, the Miss Universe 2015, has expressed her heavy heart on the Orlando Incident,posts on Instagram.
Pia Wurtzbach has expressed her sympathies to the ‘worst in US’ incident in Orlando, Florida. The known Miss Universe have given views on the incident through her photos and captions in her account.
Pia’s advocacies as recalled includes gender equality, hence shows a photo of the Philippine flag being waved, together with rainbow flags which is known to be a symbol of the LGBT pride with a rainbow background.
She emphasized that nobody deserves the feeling of terror and having that, LGBT community is close to her heart.
The beauty queen has indicated that she was blessed with the ‘responsibility’. The beauty queen also explain why she posted it. “And right before my eyes I knew why I was blessed with with this responsibility. I saw my destiny. And I will continue to be your voice, your ally, regardless of where you are from, what religion you believe in, what your financial status is, it doesn’t matter. This photo is not photoshopped. It definitely was the most beautiful day,” Pia said, referencing her homecoming parade hashtag, #MostBeautifulDay.
Meanwhile, Lea Salonga, also expressed opinion on a twitter post, “needs to stop.”
Anne Curtis of “It’s Showtime” , posted on twitter to stop the hate and mentioned about Christina Grimmie’s incident.
