Poe rejects Roxas’ unity talks.
Presidential candidate Grace Poe rejected the offer of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas’ offer to talk for unity.
In a statement released by Sen. Chiz Escudero’s running mate, she noted that they “have nothing to talk about”.
“Anytime puwede namang mag-usap pero sa puntong ito, ano pa baang pag-uusapan?” Grace Poe said in an article published by Rappler.
During a radio interview with DZMM, Grace Poe stressed that she finds no reason to withdraw her presidential race.
The local and national election is slated to happen on Monday, May 9, 2016 with a total of 54,363,844 Filipinos participating the upcoming election.
“Ngayon, kung talagang maluwag sa kanyang puso at naniniwala siya na isa ang dapat umatras para naman lumakas ang aming puwersa, bakit hindi? Desisyon niya ‘yun. Pero para sa akin, wala na kaming dapat pag-usapan, kung ‘yun ang inaasahan niya sa akin, the lady senator mentioned as she questions the intention of Roxas.”
Grace Poe said that she’s wondering why the administration presidential bet needed to announce his call for unity in public although they can discuss it privately over a phone call.
On the latter part of her interview, she said that she doesn’t have any intentions to backup Mar Roxas.
Meanwhile, in the latest presidential survey conducted by Pulse Asia, Grace Poe landed on the third spot with 21 percent.
The pre-election poll was dominated by PDP-Laban standard-bearer and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte with 33 percent followed by Mar Roxas with 22 percent.
Vice President Jejomar Binay and Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago got the 4th and 5th place respectively with 17 and 2 percent.

Although I am for Duterte, I commend Grace Poe for her principle. I know Duterte has a soft spot for her because of her potential to be a good leader. I hope Grace shows us more in the coming days..
As for Mar Roxas and PNoy, it’s too late. They both have been given a lot of time to prove their worth as public servants and failed, and now they woo everyone including their political opponents- for their own selfish motives. Up to Pnoy Aquino’s last days as a public servant, he not only has proven his very elementary brain, but his sinister and dubious nature at that for his recent pronouncements about uniting all the presidentiables against Duterte! After lambasting their opponents, they are now seeking their help? They have no other recourse but to CHEAT AT ALL COST. He, along with Roxas and Trillanes are TERRORISTS! They have and are sowing all forms of terrorism by spreading about concocted “looming” dictatorship, martial low, killings, etc in all directions. Can they not be held criminally liable for sowing terrorism among the peace-loving people? After lambasting their political opponents they seek for “unity”. This is all only for LP’s own consumption! Enough is enough of you lies and deceptions!
