Bongbong Marcos leads the latest Pulse Asia Survey
Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. remained the top pick on Vice Presidential race. The poll was conducted by Pulse Asia and ABS-CBN Network with 4,000 registered voters as respondents. It was held on April 5 to 10.

The son of former president Ferdinand Marcos is still the leading candidate with 27 percent. He was followed by Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero and Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo who statistically tied in 2nd place with 23 and 21 percent, respectively.
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano is still on the 3rd spot with 17 percent. He was followed by Senator Gringo Honasan with 4 percent. Senator Antonio Trillanes placed on the bottom with only 3 percent.
Most respondents still rooted for Bongbong Marcos despite the criticisms he received during the Vice Presidential debate in April 10. He only saw one percent of drop point from his previous rating.
Respondents from Metro Manila and Luzon mostly voted for Marcos while Leni Robredo is the top pick in Visayas Region. Senator Cayetano dominated in Mindanao Region.
Meanwhile, in the presidential survey by Pulse Asia, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s rating continues to increase as he leads the pre-election survey with 32 percent. Senator Grace Poe was stuck in second place with 25 percent.
Jejomar Binay and Mar Roxas were statistically tied again in the 3rd place. They received 20 percent and 18 percent, respectively. Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago remained on the bottom with 1 percent.
The national and local elections is scheduled on May 9, 2016 nationwide. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) can also vote on the nearest Philippine Foreign post from April 9 to May 9.
