Mariel Padilla defends Robin Padilla over the alleged shaded ballot.
Kapamilya star Mariel Rodriguez came to defend her husband action star Robin Padilla for posting an alleged shaded ballot on his Instagram account on Monday.

The “It’s Showtime” host took the image and video-sharing site Instagram to explain why Robin Padilla did not violate the ballot secrecy law, saying that she only posted a sample ballot.
“People should be more careful. they shouldn’t assume! IT WAS A SAMPLE BALLOT!!! we call this the Trillanes Syndrome… no evidence all talk,” she captioned the photo.
She added that if anyone can prove to her that Padilla went to a voting precinct, she will help them convict him. However, she is sure that her husband did not go to a precinct because he cannot vote.
“if anyone can prove that Robin Padilla went to a precinct, voted and took photos of his ballot I will help you convict him. I am that sure that Robin didn’t do that… why? because ROBIN PADILLA CAN NOT VOTE!!!!” she continued.

Mariel Rodriguez was also criticized for wearing a t-shirt with a name of candidate while voting. She insisted that she has not violated any law since she only wore a “DU30” shirt.
“I am aware that you are not allowed to wear a shirt that states the NAME of your candidate or his/her face. DU30 is not his name,” she said in an Instagram post.
She also apologized if she has offended anyone, but stressed that it was not her intention to violate any election rules.
