President Rody: ‘If you ask me if I’m happy, I am not.’

President Rody Duterte admitted the loneliness that creeps into him despite being on top.

President Rody Duterte or more commonly known as President Digong expressed the deepest sadness that lives inside him. He is charged of a responsibility which is to face and combat the ills that drag the country down.

What is plebeian into the minds of the populace is the idea that being a president is being on top of everything, of everyone. The common notion is that a president can do anything he deems to do, can get anything he wants, and can decide for the millions of people.

But that is not the reality behind the highest post as President Rody gave a glimpse of his life now after gaining the 16 million votes that was a history in the country and a breakthrough in his life.

In a report in Phil Star, the President addressed to the officers of the League of Cities and Provinces the reality that he is feeling right now.

He said that he is not happy. But he still assured the officials that the desire and will to work is still within him and they should not lose motivation about it.

In the event, he asked the attendees to address him as mayor. The report also stated that the 71-year-old president is still not used to being called as ‘president’.
