International Observers Witness Election at Tubigon, Bohol.
International Observers present. In the initiation of the 2016 national and local elections on Monday, not only the people of the Philippines witnessed the process of voting but also some international election observers who came over and were impressed with how a city in the province of Bohol conducted it.

Tubigon, Bohol is just among the cities that were observed by international election observers but reports said that five of them were impressed in the conduct of the election in the town.
According to the report, the observer noted how well the election went saying it was organized well.
Amid speculations of vote buying in the town and the glitches in the vote counting machines, according to the observers the election was held smoothly.
The observers were also impressed by the patience of the people of Tubigon who waited in the long queue under the stressful summer heat just to cast their votes.
Commision of Election (Comelec) has pointed eight towns in the provinces under the watch list following the threats and reports received by the commission.
After the heated campaign, the May 9 election will finally conclude on who the people in their respective towns and provinces and even in the national have chosen to sit in the posts.
To all the teachers who have served the national and local elections, to all the volunteers who doubled their effort to secure that the elections will be done smoothly and clean—-thank you for lifting the venue for a responsible election.
Amid the allegations of election frauds, the Comelec meanwhile firmed that the process was done according to careful planning.

The the election was held smoothly, thanks to the organizers.
The only sad thing is, they were not able to see the real dark side of the election. Vote buying on election eve was very real. They were not able to see with their own eyes how those candidates who has the money resorts on vote buying espesially those people living on remote islands and barangays. Observers? They just saw what they wanted to see nothing more.
