According to the governor of Albay Joey Salceda, about 1.9 million liters of water were transferred from the province. This is because they wanted everybody to have a good experience during their stay in Albay for the 2016 Palarong Pambansa.
The governor also promises a “memorable touristic experience” during the Palaro 2016.
Other facilities in the sports complex include a rubberized track oval and a grandstand. Delegates from different regions are allowed to practice even the province if doing its final preparations before the start of the youth games.
While waiting for the games, student-athletes and other delegates can enjoy the view of the Mayon Volcano and other tourist spots as well as buying some “pasalubong” and souviners from the nearby stalls.
The theme of the 2016 Pambansang Palaro would be, “Transforming Communities, Transcending Through K to 12”.
