Warriors Defeats Thunder, Forces Game 7

The Golden State Warriors led by Klay Thompson and the Stephen Curry recently stunned the Oklahoma City Thunder in a fourth quarter run to escape being eliminated in the Playoffs, forcing Game 7.

In a report by GMA News, Klay Thompson sparked in the game as he made an NBA single-game playoff record of 11 3-pointers in 18 attempts and ended with 41 points. While Stephen Curry added 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, ended the game 108-101, tying the best-of-seven series of the Western Conference finals, 3-3.

Thompson expressed how he’s proud of his teammates saying that even with the fact that they’re down during the game, they never gave up to push through.

“I’m so proud of everybody,” said Thompson.

“We were down almost the whole game. We never gave up and our resiliency got us through. We kept our composure. We knew if we didn’t get it done we were going home. It was a great win,” he added.

Now, whoever wins Game seven between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder will be facing the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by Lebron James for the NBA Championships.

The Warriors had been down for two consecutive games against the Thunder but, bounced back winning two games and now has a chance to defend their NBA Title.

The NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry also expressed his thoughts about their last game saying that that it was “probably the hardest of their lives”.

“We felt like we had control of the game. We just needed a stop or two. They got some garbage, the ball bouncing their way,” he added.
