Warriors Ties ’95-’96 Bulls Regular Season Record 72-9

The Golden State Warriors wins over the San Antonio yesterday making them tie with the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ 72 wins in a regular season.

Yesterday’s win by the Warriors also marks the very first loss of the Spurs on their homecourt this 2015-16 regular season. It ended their 48-game winning streak.

All the team members have been piling up points but their star point guard, Stephen Curry poured 37 points for the victory.

Draymond Green also contributed 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists while Klay Thompson finished with 14 points.

The team will face the Memphis Grizzlies next for the last game of the season. This will be their last shot to break the well-talked ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls’ regular season record of 72-9.

If the Warriors win, they will be the best regular-season record in NBA History.

People have different thoughts about this issue. Many do believe that the Warriors can but of course, some doubt them.

But, the Warriors seemed to be focused on ending the season with a 73-9 record.

“…This year, we’re just a little better individually, better as a team, and I think that’s showing. Everybody is pretty focused,” said Curry as quoted in an article made by SB Nation.

The Golden State Warriors are the NBA Champions last season.

Whatever might happen in their game against the Grizzlies will still be part of their great history.

Do you think that the Golden State Warriors can break the 72-10 record of the ’95-’96 Bulls?

Can Stephen Curry lead the team towards the play-offs and the probable Championships?

What can you say about this?
