“Sayawan sa sanctuary!”, a viral dancing video at the Catholic church altar gathered various comments from netizens
Netizens expressed various reactions after watching the video of a young boy dancing at a Catholic church altar.
The said video was posted on the Facebook Page of ‘The Pinoy Catholic New’ and netizens voiced out what can they say about it.
It was taken at the Holy Cross Parish Church, Tabuco, Naga City.
In the video, the young boy was dancing along with a modern disco music at the very altar of the said Catholic church and it was accentuated with multi-colored lights which is commonly seen in disco houses and bars.
Because of the said video, Catholic believers reacted with fury because for them that was an obvious disrespect for the church altar.
Netizen ‘Richmond Antonio Lim’ said that the said act was such a disgrace to their church and netizen ‘Louiel Joseph Lopez Desuyo’ said that it was an act of disrespect.
Another netizen in the person of ‘Badzz Vanity’ said that it was just a result of determination to become viral.
Non-Catholic believers even commented on this, such as netizen ‘Yujin Jung’ who said that even though she is not on the same faith but respect should be paid to the church altar.
There are netizens who mocked the act and even commented that there should be also pole dancing and some alcoholic drinks.
On the other hand, there are those who are questioning the Catholic priests why they let something like that happened in their parish.
There is one netizen who said that that kind of scenario at the Catholic church altar is usually happening during the holiday season.
Because of the video, some netizens concluded that the natural calamities that are happening in the country now is due to the disrespectful acts, such as the dancing at the Catholic church altar.
