Demanding MRT Commuter – A woman is now being criticized after posting a photo of a man while riding in the (Manila Rail Transit) MRT in Manila whom she claims ‘disrespected’ her because the allegedly didn’t allow her to sit instead.
A certain Karla Monique Olandesca posted a photo of a man in a yellow shirt inside an MRT train explaining that the man should have allowed her to sit as a sign of being a gentleman.
Karla Monique Olandesca wrote on her post that she was on her way home when she rode the MRT from North Ave. going to Araneta-Cubao.

She narrated that the man was in front of her and was even glancing at her. Olandesca then said that this makes the man ‘ungentleman’ for not making her sit. She even mentioned that he must not do this to her mother or even to his sister if any.

Olandesca even compared how the man looked is the same as his behavior.

Netizens have been angered by this post defending the man. One netizen said that it might be that the man is tired from work and should not be judged immediately.
Another one said that it’s not because she was a woman then it would be the responsibility of the man to let her sit and saying that it if for ‘gender equality’.
A netizen even said that if really lives in a condo, she must have been riding a taxi instead.
