Dream Wedding Cake At Its Finest

Dream wedding cake is always unique and extraordinary of course, but this time., it exceeds the imaginary vision you are having right now!

This wedding dress is actually a cake! 

This intricate, much-detailed, custom-made wedding dress has more than 1,500 ruffles, beads and lace details.

Don’t worry, it’s edible so you won’t have to mind if what part should be eaten alone.

The fact is that, only a specific people could eat this since it was made for a specific request: for a television show.

Award-winning cake sculptor and cake decorator Sylvia Elba, with the help of Illinka Rnic and Yvette Marner, of Fun n Funky Cakes’ was asked to create a dessert out of wafer paper for a U.K. cake-decorating and baking show, Cake International.

The wedding dress is made out of fondant – a sugar based ingredient and creates a smooth and molded coating of a cake, lace and wafer paper.

The design of the dress comes in sweetheart-shape, unique flower detailing, lace straps and a fitted bodice.

It really is a life-size cake and upon seeing it by far, one could mistakenly see it as a real wedding dress placed in a dressmaker’s stand.

This is incredibly beautiful right?

For the record, it only took a long time of 300 hours to complete, and that is roughly two weeks to finish!

It weighs about a whopping 150 lbs, like Great Dane’s weight and stands at about 5’5″ tall.

That’s basically a long period of time to finish a cake, considering watching Cake Boss’ Buddy decorate a cake in a few minutes.

This cake was not made out of obsession, (but it could be considered by the Guinness Book of World records, what do you think?)

Forget about the dieting and manifesto alike.

But if you don’t want to crave for this “cake”, don’t look at it!
