The viral excuse letter from a student in Nueva Ecija pushed many netizens to do an act of kindness.
A student from Nueva Ecija went viral just recently because of the excuse letter she gave to her teacher.
Bongabon National High School teacher Christian Jay Ordoña shared on his Facebook acount the said note from his student explaining the reason of her absence.
Ordoña said that it broke his heart when he read the letter from his student Marinel saying that she had no provisions that morning, as what was stated on the article published in Inquirer.
Since that, the post of the teacher from Bongabon National High School in Baranggay Sinipit, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, had gone viral.
Many netizens reacted and shared the heart-melting story of a student who is still eager to study despite that she is financially challenged.
Based on the article, Ordoña posted an update on what happened after Marinel’s story came to the knowledge of countless individuals.
The teacher is thanking all the people who extended help for his student.
For him, imparting a change in the lives of his students is one of the most rewarding feeling that a teacher could ever feel.
He also said that he never thought that a simple excuse letter would touch the lives of many people and will inspire others to do an act of kindness.
Through the help from generous individuals, Ordoña shared that Marinel can now go to school without stressing herself about her “baon”.
“MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA LAHAT NG TUMULONG! IBA TALAGA ‘PAG SI LORD ANG KUMILOS. GOD WILL MAKE A WAY. BLESSING PO KAYONG LAHAT SA BATANG ITO,” the teacher said.
