Visitors on New Dolomite Beach: “Walang nagbago, Malansa ang amoy”

Several Visitors Share Opinions on Manila Bay Dolomite Beach

Several visitors of the newly open Dolomite Beach shares their opinion on the rehabilitation of the Manila Bay.

Some visitors at Manila Bay Dolomite Beach appear to have differing opinions after seeing the tourist attraction on June 12. Blogger Alvin Tv revealed some of the views of tourists who came to observe if anything had changed in Manila Bay after its renovation in a live video.

According to the blogger’s first interviewee, nothing seemed to have changed on the dolomite beach, which she even described as “fishy” (malansa). According to the visitor, she had high expectations for the beach, but when she came, everything was still filthy.

“Expected ko talaga malinis na malinis, pagdating ko sa main entrance malinis pa pero pagdating ko dito sa bandang dulo ang madumi padin po,” said the visitor.

“Medyo malansa rin po ang amoy,” sagot niya pa matapos siyang tanungin ng blogger kung ano nga ba ang simoy ng hangin ngayon sa dolomite beach,” she added.

Alvin, on the other hand, stated that because it is water hyacinth season in Manila Bay right now, rubbish will inevitably accumulate and the ocean will smell fishy. The blogger, on the other hand, viewed the current administration’s effort favorably and hoped that it would be continued by the country’s next leaders.

Dolomite Beach is the current administration’s beach nourishment effort to restore the tourist destination’s former splendor. However, the amount of money the government had to spend to complete the project caused controversy.
