In addition, moderate to occasionally heavy rains are expected in Masbate, particularly in Aroroy, Mandaon, and Balud. These areas may experience localized flooding, especially in communities near bodies of water.

Pagasa also reported that heavy rains are currently affecting Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and several municipalities in Masbate, including Baleno, Batuan, Cataingan, Dimasalang, Esperanza, Masbate City, Mobo, Monreal, Palanas, Pio V. Corpuz, Placer, San Fernando, San Jacinto, Uson, Claveria, San Pascual, Cawayan, and Milagros. According to the weather bureau, these conditions may persist for the next two to three hours and could extend to nearby areas.

Residents in affected areas are strongly advised to monitor weather updates, prepare for possible flooding, and stay alert for emergency announcements. Those in flood-prone communities should be ready to evacuate if necessary. Motorists and commuters are also urged to exercise caution as roads may become impassable due to heavy rains.

Local authorities are closely monitoring the situation and may issue further warnings as needed. Pagasa continues to provide real-time updates and encourages the public to stay informed through official channels.
