In Metro Manila, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City is projected to have a heat index of 40°C, while the Science Garden in Quezon City may experience 36°C. A heat index ranging from 33°C to 41°C is categorized under “extreme caution,” where heat cramps and heat exhaustion are possible, and continued activity could lead to heat stroke.
On April 1, 2025, the following areas recorded heat indices in the danger level:
- Virac (Synop), Catanduanes: 45°C.
- Iba, Zambales: 42°C.
