Heat Index Advisory

  • Dagupan City, Pangasinan: Expected to reach a heat index of 43°C.​
  • Iba, Zambales, and Virac (Synop), Catanduanes: Both areas may experience a heat index of 42°C.​

In Metro Manila, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City is projected to have a heat index of 40°C, while the Science Garden in Quezon City may experience 36°C. A heat index ranging from 33°C to 41°C is categorized under “extreme caution,” where heat cramps and heat exhaustion are possible, and continued activity could lead to heat stroke.​

On April 1, 2025, the following areas recorded heat indices in the danger level:​

  • Virac (Synop), Catanduanes: 45°C.​
  • Iba, Zambales: 42°C.​
